Freaking Out

My father says I should start looking into college and what subjects I should take at the end of next year. I am now officially scared, because I realize that I'm pretty clueless in what subjects to pick as I don't know what offers what exactly. So basically my sister, will have to explain pretty much everything to me, when she comes in August. My Sister(explaining): CBSE is the central board of scecondary education in india. ur school follows the CBSE syllabus and u have to give 2 sets of CBSE exams called board exams, once in 10th and then in 12th. your 12th board exams marks matter HUGELY in terms of what kind of college u will go to - good bad or excellentpre-boards are just to give u an idea of what the actual boards are going to be like. there is also ICSE which is generally known to be more dificultthen there is the IB systemit is slightly different, it prepares people specifically to go abroad me: ohhh.....so in college you can only do one subject that is your major right? you can do like other subjects on the side? in the US yes u can have a major and a minor, then u can take other courses not realted to either. u can also do a double major or a triple major- very difficult to do
